Welcome to Corina S. Peña Elementary. At Peña Elementary, we believe that each and every one of us holds the key to unlock any door. We live by our motto "The Key Is Me!" We will continue to create a school culture that is nurturing and inviting, where all students have the opportunity to succeed. our dedicated staff, students, parents, and community will work together to achieve our goals. By differentiating instruction, we will meet the needs of every student.Because our society is ever-changing, at Peña Elementary we recognize that technological resources are essential to support and enhance classroom instruction. Students at Peña Elementary will be given many opportunities to demonstrate their academic skills and talents in a variety of ways. Through extra curricualr activites such as: U.I.L., Student Council, Choir, Theatre Club, Cheer Team, Jr. Jewelettes, Horticulture Club, and Science Club, students will participate in activities of their interest and apply their knowledge based on their experiences to real world predictable and unpredictable situations. We are looking forward to a very succesful 2008-2009 school year.
